Dokler svobode ne izberete, je ne boste imeli. Sama od sebe se ne bo zgodila, ker je svoboda značajska poteza visoke zavesti in potrebuje odločitev zanjo. Če se odločite za svobodo, boste prvič zares prilezli na plan, prvič se boste izrazili od znotraj navzven. Do sedaj ste kopičili, jemali, se trpali z zunanjim svetom… s stvarmi, znanjem, dobrinami, poznanstvi, dosežki… . Sedaj se prvič levite zunanjih nanosov in kažete svoj resničen obraz, neokrašen z ničemer tujim, kar bi ne bilo intimno vaše.
Do sedaj ste se potapljali kot krti v udobje Zemeljskih temin. Zdaj menjate smer in začnete grebsti iz zemlje, stopite na plan in celo sanjate o letanju. Naravno je, da se vam zvrti že ob misli na svobodo; kdo sem, kje sem? Prej ste vedeli, da ste pač nekdo, ki mu je ritje po temnih rovih domače, zdaj ne veste več, kdo ste, kaj vam je storiti, kaj hočete. Naj vas potolažim, to je to! Natanko ta občutek je svoboda!
Ta prostor nedoločenosti ni zmeda, kot vam prigovarja um, ki bi jo hotel nemudoma uokviriti v lastno majhnost, temveč območje vaše neomejenosti, neprivezanosti, iz kateri se morete obrniti v vsako smer, tokrat iz lastne pobude, ne več iz zunanjih narekov ali navad preteklosti.
