Svoboda – Lepota nedoločenosti 5/10 Freedom – The Beauty of Indeterminacy

Vidite, kako zožujemo naš svet s tem, ko ga spravimo v besede, razložimo, označimo…, nato primerjamo, sodimo, analiziramo… in ne nazadnje razumemo? S tem zožujemo sebe, svojo brezmejno svetlobo strpamo v steklenico in postanemo lahko umljiva banalnost. Zakaj to počnemo?

Freedom – The Beauty of Indeterminacy 5/10

Now you stand at the threshold of all possibilities. As long as you were satisfied with the darkness of the underground tunnels, everything was explained. Let’s say, dreams were simply unreal because they are full of hope and light that you do not know. In the light, however, they become very interesting… what do they tell me, what do I feel around them, could they be real?

See the difference between the definiteness of darkness and the indefiniteness of light? See how we narrow our world by putting it into words, explaining it, labeling it… then comparing it, judging it, analyzing it… and finally, understanding it? By doing so, we narrow ourselves down, put our limitless light into a bottle and become easily washable banality. Why do we do this? Maybe we just don’t want to grow up, and we keep recreating the feeling of the womb so we don’t have to face the reality of maturing.

Maturing is your true nature. Transcending the bonds of the womb or the straits of thought is your mission. Growth is your most natural posture. You don’t need to reach some unknown region of space or scramble for earthly things, it is enough to connect with yourself without the ‘safety’ shackles of the outside world. Thus you realize that you are indeterminate, constantly transcending yourself, and not a certain little self, identified with the darkness of self-forgetfulness.
